Adult Participation as Helpers:
Cub Scouting is a family adventure and Day Camp is a chance for parents to share in their son’s excitement and curiosity.
A parent or other adult companion may choose to serve as an adult camp assistant for a day. Participating adults will have specific work assignments for the day which may not involve being with one’s own son, but all are guaranteed to have fun! Registration, First Aid/water station, photography, pre-crafts, grocery runs are all positions for volunteer opportunities!
Also, parents or adult companions who may not be available to work during camp hours may receive a rebate by volunteering to assist in pre-camp preparations such as organizing supplies and equipment. These tasks generally involve four to five hours. You will receive the rebate at the end of camp.
Complete the attached application, medical form, and Schoolmates form if used. Enclose a check for the registration fee (made out to Piedmont Council, BSA) with the documents and send to the Piedmont Council,10 Highland Way, Piedmont, CA 94611.
