Scouting for FoodCouncil Event

Piedmont Residents, please look for "Scouting for Food" flier which will be delivered on Saturday, November 10. Don't forget to leave your food donation out on Saturday, November 17. Mark your calendar!

This year the traditional door to door pickup will be paired with another virtual food drive which kicks off November 1 and continues through November 30. This is how it works. The Piedmont Scouts have an account at the Alameda County Food Bank. All contributions are on line. For every dollar donated, the Food Bank distributes five dollars worth of food! So, save yourself a trip to the grocery store and let the Alameda County Food Bank do the shopping for you! See link below to make a virtual food contribution.

Or do both! The need is particularly urgent this year. And a one dollar contribution goes a long way.
