Scout Qualifications

Scouts who participate in the 2013 Jamboree must:

Be at least a First Class Scout with current membership in a Troop
Have completed sixth grade of be at least 12 years of age by July 15, 2013, and have not reached his 18th birthday by July 24, 2013
Participate in the pre-Jamboree training experience
Have filed a jamboree personal and medical record with the council Jamboree Committee before the pre-Jamboree training
Meet the medical and BMI Body Mass Index requirements
Be approved by his Scoutmaster
Be approved by his Scoutmaster Jamboree Committee
Submit all registration fees per the council schedule
Complete the age-specific Youth Protection training course before the first day of the Jamboree

Venturer who participate in the 2013 Jamboree must:

Be enrolled in a Venturing Crew
Be at least 14 years old by July 15, 2013 or 13 years old and graduated from the eighth grade.
Participate in the pre-Jamboree training experience
Be approved by the Crew Advisor
Have filed a jamboree personal and medical record with the council Jamboree Committee before the pre-Jamboree training
Meet the medical and BMI Body Mass Index requirements
Submit all registration fees per the council schedule
Complete the age-specific Youth Protection training course before the first day of the Jamboree
