Piedmont Community Service Crew’s Annual House Renovation

 In PCSC, Venturing

Piedmont Community Service Crew’s Annual House Renovation project is ramping up in 2 weeks with the main workdays Apr 4 & 11.  This is what most members look forward to and a reason to join the crew now!

Now is a great time to join Piedmont Community Service Crew (PCSC) because we are gearing up for our biggest and most popular project of the year!  Over the next month, we expect to have 100 volunteers collectively renovating the home of an elderly Oakland resident, Ms Adams. She’s in her mid 80’s and raised 7 of her own kids, then adopted 3 more infants who are adults now. She cares for her 100 yr old mother as well as 2 sons and a granddaughter. Help us to make repairs and upgrades to her home!

  • PCSC keeps going over the summer!  We have plans for a 10-day summer service trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and a 3-day project in Napa, CA.
  • PCSC is youth run by a team of teen leaders who plan major projects in addition to 2 events each week. We teach our members practical life skills, while having fun helping others.
