Cub Scout Day Camp a Success!

In Camp Crew 042, Council News, Cub Scout Day Camp

Cub Scout Day Camp 2019 was a great success! We had five dens of Cub Scouts and other youth from Piedmont and surrounding neighborhoods participate in camp activities. The theme this year was Under the Sea, so kids learned about buoyancy, fluid dynamics and density, and how to build and race a boat.  As always, youth had an opportunity to safely practice their archery skills too!

On Friday, the Piedmont Fire Department came out and dropped egg devices during our Annual Egg Drop event. Special thanks to the Fire Department for their support in putting on this event!

Special thank you to the team that helped organize and put on this camp (listed below)! Anyone interested in organizing Day Camp next year for the theme Down on the Farm can reach out to Morgan at [email protected]. Help spread the fun and teach kids about animals and agriculture!

Thank you to all who helped make this event possible! You mean the world to us!
