More Ways to Support Scouting
Scouting programs build positive character and provide our youth with a foundation they can stand on to embrace opportunity, overcome obstacles, and make new discoveries. Scouting works.
Thank you for considering a gift to Piedmont Scouting. Your support makes our programs possible.
Tributes and Memorials
Your Tribute or Memorial gift is a way to recognize a special occasion or person. Your gift can honor an Eagle or Venturing Summit Award, Council Award, birthday or anniversary, or the memory of a loved one.
After making your gift, you will get an acknowledgement card for tax purposes. The honoree also receives a card in your name from the Piedmont Council with no amount mentioned. Your tribute will benefit the youth of our communities forever.

Christmas Tree Lot
The Piedmont Scout Tree Lot provides a significant portion of the Council’s operating budget and supports Council activities year-round in the community.
An East Bay tradition since 1966, the lot boasts a great selection of freshly cut, high quality trees, garland and wreaths, and is staffed by enthusiastic Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, coed Venturing crew members and adult volunteers.
The yearly fundraiser has grown into a family and Scouting tradition with Scouts and volunteers organizing, managing and delivering trees.
The Piedmont Council receives maximum benefit from your donation if you sell the car yourself and forward the cash proceeds to us. We provide documentation to support all donations for tax purposes.
Many donors would like to avoid the cost and hassle of advertising the car and showing it to potential buyers, however. Increasingly, they turn to vehicle donation programs.
