Piedmont Rallies behind Scouting for Food Drive

In Boy Scout News, Community News, Council News, Venturing

The annual Scouting for Food Drive was a smashing success! The Piedmont community donated over 7,600 pounds of food to the Alameda County Community Food Bank, helping to ensure their services run smoothly this holiday season. The Virtual Food Drive has currently brought in $5742.15, through donations online and in-person, which is close to an all-time record! The Virtual Drive will remain open through December 11th, where you can donate so the Food Bank can purchase perishable items and other necessities. Click here to donate: Virtual Food Drive.

On behalf of the entire Piedmont Scout Council and the Alameda County Community Food Bank, we thank you all for your support! A big thanks to all our Scout and Venturer volunteers, who put in hundreds of volunteer hours to make this drive a success! Also a thank you to the Rec. Dept. and Dress Best for Less for use of the parking lot. See you all next year!
