Announcing Limited-Edition Community Service Patch

 In Council News

The Piedmont Council is proud to announce a limited-edition Community Service Patch! Similar to the Flatten the Curve Patch, this patch can be earned by any member (Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, etc.). You must complete five acts of service to your community. These five acts can be any activity that meaningfully supports community. They must be approved by a parent or leader. Once approved, email Morgan for confirmation at [email protected].

Below are some examples of service that are acceptable:

  • Write a letter to a loved one, medical service worker, teacher, or emergency responder.
  • Volunteer at the Alameda County Community Food Bank
  • Complete a service project with your family or cohort
  • Help your neighbor in need

Reminder that all projects must be done safely and follow all County guidelines, found at acphd.org. The five acts of service can all be done virtually, in-person or a mixture of both, based on family health considerations.

Thank you for supporting your community during this time of need!
