Piedmont Council BSA has a long history of assisting the Alameda County Community Food Bank serve those in need. Every November, Scouts and coed Venturing members go door-to-door in Piedmont collecting more than 8,000 lbs. of nutritious, non-perishable foods, such as canned fruits, vegetables and meats; canned soup; peanut butter; pasta and canned (not bottled) pasta sauce.
